This sounds awful, but coming from a verbally abusive parent myself, Julian was fortunate not to have been raised by his dad, Cynthia did a great job! He stated elsewhere that the handful of times he saw him john would randomly fly into a devaluing rage, that Julian would be devastated. A parent who loves their kid does not treat them that way. I think what we got to see was the facade. Bravo Julian, you did well!

You know Bill Burr is just a real guy. He talks about what's on his mind from his perspective, and he's not trying to impress anyone. Bill Maher, on the other hand, has a complex about everyone thinking he's smart and sophisticated to the point he just comes off as a real jerk. I love how Burr fired back and kept to his points...and not once did they get so mad they came to hate...you can disagree and still appreciate who somebody is deep down. Burr was making a point that we are different, and that's okay. Like what you like, and if you don't....then find something else. There are too many people in the world to worry about what one person thinks. Thanks, Maher, for the entertainment. As always, Club Random is interesting to watch, to say the least.
